Required Documents
ONCE YOU HAVE MADE DECISION ABOUT THE STUDY PROGRAMME YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR YOU SHOULD:
- Collect necessary documentation:
- Passport;
- Certificate of Residence;
- documents of your previous education: the Secondary school certificates/transcripts/the list of exams; the Recognized University diploma/certificates/transcripts – for Master’s Degree and PhD Degree Programmes;
- International English proficiency certificateUpper-Intermediate B2 (5.5 with 5.5 or above in each band)
- 4 photos(35 x 45 mm);
- the Bank Confirmation Letter of the availability of the minimum of subsistence established by law (valid for 3 months from the date of issue);
- Medical certificate confirming the ability to study in EU Universities. The most important is Chest X-ray radiograph and radiologist’s wrien report;
- Application and tuition fees payments;
- the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC, valid for 6 months from the date of issue);
- Curriculum Vitae and Motivation letter – for Master’s Degree and PhD Degree programmes; work reference letters (if available) – for Master’s Degree and PhD Degree programmes;
Admission Process:
From 1 January 2024, the minimum amount of necessary financial means that must be supported by a valid bank statement will be increased. The amount of financial means required will be determined as follows:
– not less than the minimum monthly wage (EUR 700 per month or EUR 8400 per year).
- Documents submission. Documents can be submitted in Admission committee, or to send it in scan version to [email protected]
- Pay the Application fee:
- 150 EUR for Applicants from CIS countries, Ukraine and Georgia; 250 EUR – citizens for other countries, except EU/EEA/UK.
- The registration fee will not be paid back!
- Verification of the education documents at the Academic Information Center (AiC) in Latvia. Check can take up to four months.
- Pay the Tuition fee
- Execution of an agreement and its signing
- Processing and receiving the short-terms stay visa (for 90 days)
- Arrival to Latvia.
- Processing and receiving the temporary residence permit
Required documents:
- Copy of passport 2. Documents of students’ previous education:
- Certified copy of Secondary School diploma with transcript of records
- Certified copies of University diploma with diploma supplement. Provisional certificate doesn’t admit by AIC.
- Proof of English language proficiency of TOEFL 525 or IELTS 6.0 (B2). Note: students without certificate won’t be accepted.
- Copy of a registration.
- Four passport-size photos (3×4)
- Copy of the document, confirming name/last name change (if it’s necessary)
- Copy of required payments (application and tuition fees) 7. Motivation letter (for Master degree students)

Initiation of studies in subsequent study stages:
Persons who have higher education or who have studied in higher education institutions until now additionally submit the following documents:
- a copy of the diploma and its Annex and/or a copy of the transcript of records based on which credits obtained in the institution of higher education are credited.
- Report/exam transfer form (original).
